The 13^th December 2020 will certainly go down in FC Lakeside history as the first 11v11 game to be played at our new home Cold Pool Lane. The Under 16s Girls were the first team to take the field in a fixture against Bishops Cleeve this morning. Following a lot of work behind the scenes over the last couple of years it was great to finally see the site host its first game. The conditions were horrible with persistent heavy rain always a threat of calling the game off early on Sunday morning.

The game also witnessed a 1-minute silence in remembrance of Graham Griffiths who sadly passed away last week. The Griffiths family were present to observe the silence. The game was one of many fixtures across the weekend where players and supporters stood quiet for a minute to remember Graham.
